Welcome

A warm welcome to Braywick Court School from our community of staff, governors, children and families.  We are a one-form entry, free primary school located within the beautiful Braywick Nature Reserve in Bray, Berkshire.

We value every child as an individual, and every member of staff knows each pupil. Our small, safe and nurturing environment gives children the opportunity to thrive and succeed with confidence.

Pupils at Braywick Court School love coming to school and have a genuine passion for learning. Our excellent staff team consistently provides exciting and engaging learning opportunities, inspiring pupils to achieve their very best. We encourage all children to aspire, to pursue their dreams and to take pride in all that they do.

Alongside first-class classroom teaching and excellent academic outcomes, we are committed to educating the whole child. We offer a broad range of extracurricular activities, with a wide variety of clubs running each week.

As a Green School, we make the most of our unique setting and take learning outside as often as possible. Pupils learn to understand, appreciate and protect the natural world. Our curriculum is broad, rich and ambitious, developed in collaboration with our pupils. Children from Preschool to Year 6 learn Spanish and music, and every class enjoys swimming lessons each year. Our dedicated sports team also delivers high-quality sporting opportunities.

It takes a village to raise a child

One important philosophy we live by is: “It takes a village to raise a child.” Families play a central role in school life, and there are many opportunities to get involved and support your child’s learning. This partnership is key to our success. Braywick Court School is a school for families who value and support their child’s education as much as we do.

Here you will find a calm and purposeful learning environment where children and adults are encouraged to be ambitious, creative and the very best they can be.

Come and visit us, I'd be delighted to show you around.
